Summary
Enfield Native Gary Sredzienski continues on to keep the tradition of his homeland's village songs alive within his community. Being a professional musician with memories and music events with his grandfather, he did not want the tradition to die out. So he decides to return to Connecticut and begins hosting concerts for almost every Sunday just to keep his traditional music alive.
My Thoughts, Comments, and/or Reaction
I honestly think they're aren't much people out there like this guy. He is proud of who is and embraces it. He wants to share it with everyone, keeping it alive, not being afraid of judging. In order to keep it alive, he performs almost every Sunday and that shows his dedication to keeping his tradition alive and I really admire that.
Article's Relation to Culture
Folk music are a significant part in one's culture. The different kind of music played differs from country to country. Though some music might not be enjoyable to others, they still hold a proud meaning to others. Without it, culture might not be the same to people around. Some people would do everything to keep their tradition music alive, just like the Gary guy.
